Alicia Silverstone, an American actress is best known for her performance in Clueless. It was her first role as a child actor who became an idol for teenagers. In an Aerosmith song video she played a rebellious and foxy teenager. She quickly became one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. The actress signed a multimillion dollar contract with Columbia TriStar in the wake of her stunning appearance in Clueless and set up her production company. It was not a huge success in Clueless however she managed to attract reviewers' attention for her role as Batgirl. She appeared in a number different roles in films from different genres, such as Beauty Shop, Stormbreaker, Excess Baggage, and Blast from the Past. Alongside her appearances in films, she has also appeared as a matchmaker on a TV show called Miss Match. She is also active in numerous causes that are charitable. She has managed to present herself as a persona by encouraging veganism and supporting animal rights. Alicia Silverstone has also written her own book, The Kind Diet.
