She also retired as an ice dancer. Her birth date was 1 March 1980 in Moscow, to a family that included the Director and the economist Tatyana Dmitrievna. When she was young her illness began to take hold. She was hospitalized. It was later diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. He became famous for his skating prowess with Denis Samokhin, a compatriot. Both of them competed in two distinct Junior World Championships placing 8th in 1993, and 7th in 1994. The partnership achieved great things, but it was their 15th position finishing at the World Championships in 1998 that represented the peak of the friendship.
